Social themes 2009
Because Alliander is part of society, we carry a social responsibility. We accept this responsibility by systematically defining themes, both internally and in cooperation with social and other organisations. These themes provide us with the parameters to explore our social role. Not reactively, but actively and positively.
- Privacy; how does Alliander deal with the personal details of customers and colleagues?
- Climate change; as an organisation, how can we contribute to mitigating the impact of climate change?
- Sustainability; when can we call ourselves a sustainable company?
- Labour participation; how do we take a lead in the market without excluding people?
- Quality of life; what can we contribute to the quality of life in deprived areas?
- Ageing; how does Alliander deal with the increasing population of older people among its customers and employees?
- Supply chain management; as a company, when are we pleased with the way our products are manufactured and removed?
- Domestic problems; what do we do if we notice that customers and colleagues are having problems at work or at home?
