Policy and conditions

Doing business with due regard for the environment is something we expect from ourselves and our suppliers, which is why we ask all our suppliers to sign our code of conduct. We also conclude (individual) agreements with many suppliers concerning sustainability in the form of socially responsible procurement agreements and registration with FIRA.

Code of conduct for suppliers

The code of conduct asks our suppliers, their suppliers and manufacturers to demonstrate ethical behaviour and business practices. It covers all of Alliander’s suppliers and is based on OECD guidelines.

FIRA registration

In order to make the energy chain more transparent, we ask suppliers to register on the platform of the sustainable procurement organisation FIRA. FIRA ensures that the sustainability performances of our suppliers are clearly reflected and that the views of stakeholders are properly taken into account in decision-making processes. This gives us certainty that we are selecting the right partners to work with and that together, we are likely to have a positive impact on society.

SRP declaration

We conclude individual agreements with our strategic partners about our shared CSR performances and goals, register them in the form of a joint declaration and call each other to account to meet the goals we have set ourselves.
