Grid to Great is a company offering products for the digitalisation of substations and the creation of stronger, more flexible electricity grids. Its products enable network operators to digitalise their primary and secondary installations, and use virtual applications to manage and optimise substations. Grid to Great’s solutions are based on the IEC 61850 standard and support interoperability, scalability and real-time insight. Grid to Great has a proven track record of delivering and supporting substation digitalisation projects in five countries, in partnership with leading DSOs and TSOs.

Qterra is a company specialising in soil surveys and soil-related advice. Alliander Telecom offers machine-to-machine telecom services for energy networks, as well as related tasks. For this it uses both fixed and wireless networks, such as its own fibre-optic network and the 450 MHz network of Utility Connect. Utility Connect is a joint venture between Alliander and Stedin that supplies secure, closed, wireless data communication to closed user groups. The company has a CDMA network for machine-to-machine applications of public and semi-public parties, such as network operators, utility companies and critical infrastructures. Utility Connect helps its customers manage their vital infrastructure more efficiently through the use of smart meters, sensors and remote-controlled switches that communicate via its network..
